About This Book

This book is an excellent review of how the depletion of nutrients in the soil has led to poor quality food. Given that it was written in 1974, it is a remarkably forward thinking book, providing insights we are only just beginning to accept more generally. I found it an all around thought-provoking read, with fascinating examples to illustrate his thesis.
