Margolit Ben Shoshan an artist has lost her lover and love of life. By day she runs the Kibbutz buffet and by night she talks to her dead lover until his son Aviad show up. Aviad is a deep and sensitive youth who tells her that something very strange, dark and mysterious, takes place in the kibbutz's pepper garden where the elders gather.
