Social Problems in Kashmir

Social Problems in Kashmir like in other developing and modernizing societies, the Kashmiri society too faced a number of social problems which were of general, distinctive and complex nature. These problems have been identified, explained and presented here in the sociological framework which emphasized multi-dimensionality and totality of the social phenomenon. These problems were caused primarily because of implications of the processes of change, development and modernization. This book has analyzed these local problems with scientific orientation, critical approach and sociological-theoretical perspective.
