Fenster zur Wirklichkeit

Started three years before Michael Apted's 7 Up films began, this documentary follows children from the rural town of Golzow in the Oderbruch region between Germany and Poland. The film captures each from the age of six through young adulthood, creating a social panorama and revealing the universal truths of growing older. The filming took place between 1961 and 1980. The producers then revisited the subjects again in subsequent years.
