A Crash Course on the Sogdians

In this non-fiction zine, Marguerite imparts some of the history of the empire of Sogdiana and the role of the Sogdian people in the trade movements of the Silk Road between the 4th and 7th centuries CE. She explains their religious beliefs, their language, their dress customs, and social hierarchy as well as how they connected with the neighboring empires of China and Persia. The zine is handwritten and includes references.
