Biography of the Shingza Pandita 07 Lozang Dargye Gyatso (1759-1824), a prominent Gelukpa lama seated at the Tibetan Buddhist Rwa-rgya Monastery in Golok (Tib. Mgo-log), located in present-day Qinghai Province or the Tibetan region of Amdo (Tib. A-mdo). This lama made trips to Lhasa and to Peking, initiated the Kangyur woodblock printing project at Ragya Monastery, and served as abbot at both Kumbum (Tib. Sku ʼbum) and Rongwo (Tib. Rong-bo) monasteries.
