The ESA history project

In 2009 the Alexandre Koyré Medal was awarded to the ESA History Project, coinciding with completion of the second phase of the project. The medal is a recognition of the impressive work that has been carried out over the 20 years since the project started. This volume contains the proceedings of the ceremony, plus a general overview of the ESA History Project and a bibliography describing its published output. It also includes short contributions from some of the historians about their experiences of working on the project.
