Born into the country

Born Into the Country set in apartheid South Africa and is the story of one woman's struggle against the repressive regime. Ntsiki is banned, tortured and her partner is murdered. The story was inspired by the late black consciousness leader, Steve Biko, who died tragically while in custody.
