About This Book

The book looks at the Star of Bethlehem from a Babylonian perspective, or more precisely using their divination manual, Enuma Anu Enlil. It is argued that two events the years 3 BC and 2 BC made the magi interested in a new "King of Amurru". The Amurru area is from Syria in the north to Israel in the south, and at that time Israel was the dominant kingdom in the area. The omens were nine months apart and the first omen coincided with an omen mentioning difficult births. The author argues that the omens are in full accordance with Revelation 12, and that all details in Revelation 12 can be explained using the divination manual and Babylonian mythology.
