The book examines, through a review of spectroscopic observations, the occurrence of chemical elements in the solar system, including the Sun, Moon, planets, comets and meteorites and in the fixed stars and nebulae. Harald von Klüber (1901-1978) was primarily a solar astronomer and physicist. He worked in Germany, Switzerland, England, and Malta, and went on several total solar eclipse expeditions.
