Nuda veritas

In a context in which "academic" art (especially drawing), understood in its plainest sense, as that which uses color, perspective and treatment of light, seems to lose meaning - and followers - to give way to avant-garde trends that privilege discourse to form, Alberto Martínez's work gives the viewer revealed images to those who by dint of discipline allow themselves to be guided, for his mastery in the techniques of engraving and drawing are undoubted.
