Álvaro Blancarte

An approach to the professional career of artist Álvaro Blancarte (b. Sinaloa 1934) studied thoroughly by art critic José Manuel Springer, who was the curator and prefaced the publication. Blancarte has a fascination for abstraction and the culture of the region in the Northern part of Mexico, particularly the desert of Baja California. The book includes approximately 130 works and comprises, mostly, the most representative series of the artist.
