Rhetoric of racial harmony

This book was inspired by Bormann's studies on Abraham Lincoln's rhetorical vision after the trial of the Civil War which emphasized the importance of unifying a nation in time of troubles. Bormann's studies provide a conceptual understanding of how to apply the fantasy theme analysis method in examining Tunku Abdul Rahman, Tan Cheng Lock and V.T. Sambanthan's tasks of unifying a racially divided society of Malaya in critical historical circumstances.
