The fight against discrimination and the promotion of equality

This analytical study published by the European Commission targets a two-fold objective: first to develop a conceptual framework for evaluating progress in equality and anti-discrimination efforts and to formulate specific suggestions with a view to selecting a reasonable number of indicators; and second, to start examining the statistical data available at the international, European and national levels that might contribute to an evaluation of the progress made in equality and anti-discrimination efforts.--Publisher's description.
