1916 What The People Saw

Contemporary civilian accounts of life in Dublin during the 1916 Easter Rising show what it was really like on the streets. The accounts that Mick O'Farrell has collected come from letters, diaries, extracts from otherise unrelated biographies, and contemporary magazine and newspaper articles. Together, they give a real flavour of what it was like to live through history in the making.
