Catching Larks

When Kate Gallantree's baby son is placed in her arms she is happier than she has been all her life. When she was twenty her mother died and three days later her father told her she was an adopted child. Now, hugging her baby, she realises that, for the very first time, she is touching someone actually related to her; it is her first experience of true family. Ties of blood are powerful and Kate feels drawn to search for her natural mother. What is subsequently revealed changes the lives of everyone around her.
