This book is a general vision of the constitutional history of Chile and it covers from 1810 to 1930, including several constitutional essays previous to the definitive chilean Independece in 1818 and with an special emphasis and analysis of the Constitutions published in the year 1833 and 1925. It is the best known and most influential book of Julio Heise González and a necessary first step for studying the political system of Chile.
