About This Book

A working class college student with a summer construction job, Ocean Capewell writes about her genderqueer identity as in this split with Laminated Hearts Club, an older zine of hers. She includes a story about her experience after September 11, 2001 and protesting in front of Stonewall. Capewell utilizes a cut and paste format, interspersing quotes, found photographs, comix (a full-page cartoon called "The Best Construction Site Graffiti") with her essays.
