About This Book
"Pera Museum welcomes the winter of 2014 with an exhibition of Picasso's engravings, ceramics, and childhood belongings from the house of his birth in Málaga: Picasso: Engravings and Ceramics from the House of His Birth. The exhibition includes 64 artworks, including 56 engravings and 8 ceramics, as well as the artist's childhood belongings such as his baby smock, shoes, and toy soldiers. We believe that this exhibition, organised by Pera Museum in collaboration with Picasso Foundation, Birthplace Museum (Fundación Picasso, Museo Casa Natal) will provide visitors with interesting clues about Picasso's art and his endless artistic search, allowing us to better understand his repeptition and re-creation of artworks surrounding a specific theme."--Page 7.
