About This Book

"The third meeting of the Antelope States Workshop, was the first meeting to be held on a biennial basis...the meeting was held February 5th and 6th at the Ramada Inn in Casper, Wyoming...it is felt that these meetings are not only justified, but serve a real purpose in considering the many, and often complex, problems encountered in managing populations of pronghorn antelope. The many types of seasons, differences in state organization of management agencies, differences in laws, considerations of federal land management agencies, and certainly the variations of biological, climatic, and ecological factors encountered in the antelope distribution all heighten the interest of such a meeting...representatives of the Nebraska Game, Fish and Parks Department [will] host the next workshop...it was decided that the 1970 meeting will be held in Nebraska"--Page iii.

Compilation of papers presented at the third annual meeting with follow-up discussions.
