About This Book

This is a collection of short observations of a journalist, James Cowan, who, during his luch breaks from the office of the Glasgow Evening Citizen, would explore his immediate environment and often leave his mark on the places he visited or indeed link these places with the past in an honest and very (for that period of th e1930's) naive manner.

Very interesting and useful if you're studying, or just curious about the relatively recent history of Glasgow.
