"I use the same stencil for every drawing and grab whatever mark-making tool I have at hand. I have piles of these drawings. You can see where a pencil smeared, the ring that’s left when I accidentally set a glass down on the paper or splashes of wine. Some of the words are taken from my thoughts on my surroundings, concepts that I want to expand upon based on linguistics, some from Skype conversations, some from eavesdropping on a nearby conversation.
