David Caleb Acevedo (1980) previously published the collectionof poems Bestiario en nomenclatura binomial and Empírea o la saga de la nueva ciudad. In 2013 he received honorable mention from the Puerto Rican Pen Club for his memoirs Diario de una puta humilde and in 2014 the Premio Nacional de Literatura for his short story Desongbard.
