Uncle Dave and the Fort Sumter Paradox

WHAT IF you were accidentally sent back in time and found yourself with the wherewithall to prevent the Civil War from ever starting in the first place? Would you declare "We can't change history!" or would you try to fix things? Our central characters are given this situation and quickly determine that firepower is not in fact their most powerful weapon! Inspired by Uncle Dave and following his lead, they keep General Beauregard and others spinning until a peaceful solution is achieved. But, this generates a paradox, and a paradox must be resolved!
