Per Oscarsson

Memoir of the author's friendship with Per Oscarsson based on their multi-year correspondence and addressing everything from existential musings to simple everyday events. The script of Per Oscarsson's memoirs, which were so important to him and that he had worked for 26 years with, was destroyed by the same fire that took his and his wife's life on the night of 31 December 2010. This book is not about his autobiography, and it's not about his acting career; instead we meet him absorbed in thoughts out in the fields, in meditation during forest hikes and reflective at the desk during a break between his acting performances.
