This book is a historical rendition of the great revivalists beginning with Jonathan Edwards and ending with Billy Sunday. It tells about the methods used for sponsoring revivals across American from the middle 1700s through the early 20th century. It is also biographical in the sense that it focuses on the preachers who bore the burdens of the revivals they sponsored. Jay Hines
