Illustrated 2000 building code handbook

Architects, builders, and related design professionals are required to design any structure to the minimum requirements set by applicable codes. Failure to design to code requirements can mean expensive change orders during construction, delays, loss of client trust and respect, claims, and even litigation. The Illustrated 2000 Building Coide Handbook is the first definitive reference to the new universal building code, which is scheduled for release in mid-2000. This new code replaces the UBC, BOCA, and SBCCI codes and will be standard for the entire United States. The Handbook is also the first code reference of any kind to explain code requirements pictorially, facilitating speedy comprehension by the designer.
