Le luci dell’uomo

*Le luci dell'uomo : lirica filosofica* (2021), is a collection of poems by the Romanian writer, poet and philosopher Dumitru Găleșanu, written and published in Romanian, in 2020, under the original title *Luminile omului: lirica filosofică*. This edition is a translation into Italian by Mihaela Cîrțog. A notable work of a poet-philosopher with an authentic metaphysical vocation, this volume combines the terms of concrete existential reality with poetic imagery and abstract-philosophical concept, creating a complex spiritual vision of the condition and role of the wise man in the universe and in contemporary society. The author insists on the need to reveal the ultra-deep connections between the microcosm and the macrocosm, and the intelligent man and his natural needs, especially the emotional and spiritual ones, become the central and favorite subject of the volume *Le luci dell'uomo*. The poetic texts reproduced in the volume, intertwining elements of abstract art and existential thoughts, directly associated with the graphic illustrations made by the author himself, reveal the very complexity of the reality of the world, as it is perceived and known by the human being.
