A photographic journey through historic Western Armenia, now modern day Turkey, as seen through the eyes of photographer Hrair Hawk Khatcherian and his mentor and guide, Archbishop Mesrob Ashjian. Vestiges of centuries-old Armenian architecture and civilization remain a testament to a once thriving Armenian population whose presence vanished from the region in the early 20th century.
