About This Book
It will no doubt come as a surprise to most in the Christian community that Christians can demonstrate that they may be enslaved to many things. These may include common or behavioral addictions, emotional disorders, and other problems that tend to compromise their walk with God. In this booklet, Dr. Hubbard introduces what may be a new term to most Christians. He calls this problem co-dependency, a condition in which people look outside themselves to determine how they feel about themselves. This condition leads to a variety of physical and/or emotional problems. Dr. Hubbard explains what these "co-dependencies" are; how people can remain in denial, suffering and/or tolerating their problem for years; how their self-esteem is affected; and how "enablers" complicate the recovery process. He suggests a twelve-step cleansing process through which Christians can extricate themselves from being co-dependent. - Back cover.
