About This Book
This issue begins with a farewell to Dr. Creelman and a welcome to J. B. Reynolds, the new president of the Ontario Agricultural College. Agricultural articles pertain to creameries in Quebec, supplemental pasture crops, chimeras in plant genetics, and the potash supply for fertilizer. Other articles address the standardization of tile for field drainage, and compare the insulative qualities of different materials. This month's home beautification article is on music in the home. An interesting article outlines the history of increasing the bison population from 1884 to 1920. Two women students provide their perspective on the contributions women make to agriculture. Another wartime biographical sketch titled "Apres la Guerre" is printed in this issue. The editorial includes an update on the treatment of students who are war veterans. The Macdonald Institute column provides alumnae news. While the Alumni column contains alumni updates and a listing of all O. A. C. graduates who have surnames beginning with the letters "M".
