"Orange on top"

A novel about the resistance to Nazi Occupation of Holland during World War II. It focuses on the Jansen family, especially the children, Gerrit, Adriana, and Bram. It shows what daily life was like under the Nazi Occupation, and how members of the community helped each other. Through the family's efforts they enable a Jewish girl to escape to England.
