About This Book
I have this book...it is awesome! The author has a dry sense of humor and gets into all kinds of situations. It is great to read this first-hand account of the book and all the strange experiences she has...written to her mother (moth-hair)...in letter form. The blurb on the back reads:
Cindy is on the trip of a lifetime, having exchanged the monotony of life in Iowa for the excitement of Asia. While she experiences each escapade first hand, her mother is left to learn of her narrow escapades through a series of letters, giving her more than a few gray hairs.
We follow Cindy though the whole of her trip and gain a unique insight into the life of a traveler, sharing her boredom, frustration and fears as well as her exhilarating joy and freedom.
If you've been there, you could well relate to this amusing account of a journey filled with lecherous men. If not, it may tempt you to hop on a plane and experience it for yourself.
