Describes the confiscation of lands, properties, buildings and treasures of the English monasteries at the hands of Henry VIII and Thomas Cromwell. Includes, for example, Cromwell's 'remembrance' that "The abbot of Glaston to be tried at Glaston, and also executed there with his complices."
