Image reconstruction

This program covers how the CT system reconstructs an image from raw data and displays the image on a monitor. It shows the steps that the data goes through after leaving the detector - the data manipulation - and defines important terms in the process. The course objectives include: showing the difference between raw data and image data; describing scan field sizes; understanding the formula for pixel size; understanding how the display field size affects spatial resolution in the image; and demonstrating the final image display.
