Daniel Hopfer

Exhibition to be held at Staatlichen Graphischen Sammlung München in der Pinakothek der Moderne, München. Daniel Hopfer, a contemporary of Dürer and the inventor of iron engravings, considerably contributed to the spread of the Renaissance in Germany. This is the first catalogue raisonné with reproductions of all his prints, drawings and etchings on weapons as well as a number of essays.
