Exhibition catalogue of artist Carlos Quintana's (b. Cuba 1966) large format, mixed-technique paintings and some installations with polychrome ceramic and wood heads from his 2008-2009 production where irrational and sensual solitary figures populate his creations. In 1989 he was drawing comics, toward 1990 his work as painter was to become known and his characters born in comics became the main protagonists of his figurative paintings.
