Tesla

A fictionalized biography of Nikola Tesla, the inventor of alternating current, a major development in electricity. The son of immigrants, he first works for Edison, then strikes out on his own. With Westinghouse's backing he produces a string of inventions, including fluorescent lighting. He dies a poor man.
