Correspondence between US diplomat Summer Wells, head of Latin American section of the Department of State from 1933 to 1943, and anti-Trujillo politician Ángel Morales. Morales was Dominican minister in Washington during the presidency of Horacio Vásquez. This book constitutes an important contribution to the history of Dominican exiles during the Trujillo dictatorship and international political struggle against that regime.
