During the tumultuous years of the 1970s and 1980s when God was proclaimed dead and the Catholic Church was condemned as demonic, Margaret and her few hundred friends across the United States believed they were the only true Catholics left in the world. When her sailor husband was transferred to Italy, Margaret embarked on a crusade to find more true Catholics willing to fight Satan even on the grounds of Vatican City.
