What's the Word?

Cathy Leamy wrote and illustrated this mini comic that builds off the structure of the game: "What's the word" where a participant tries to guess a word when given a series of clues. Leamy pairs her chosen words with different experiences and occurrences within her daily life and illustrates the scene. Words like "mermaid," "repeats," and "Thursday" are used to explore the unique and ordinary aspects of Leamy's life, from the Mermaid parade to Thursday night disco aerobic classes in Cambridge. –Grace Li
