About This Book

After the incursions of self-taught artist, poet, teacher and curator Ale de la Puente (Me xico 1968) in the Institute of Astronomy of the UNAM and the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), the artist traces a journey through the different ways of conceiving space-time. This catalog that accompanies the exhibition where art, science and technology look for ways to "stand with their feet in the water", the meaning of looking at the stars and wondering how we are all waiting for the lightning. Ale de la Puente is a textile, jewelry and goldsmith designer. She studied Industrial Design at the Ibero-American University (UIA) and Astronomy and Nuclear Sciences at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Her works have been exhibited in Spain, the United States, Poland and Mexico.
