Alba Gonzales

Roman by birth, Alba Gonzales has Sicilian, Greek, Spanish and French roots and a Mediterranean cosmopolitanism that in some ways explains the mythical and mythological legacy that energises her work, influenced by a sensual cult of form and the human body understood as a temple of the soul, in both its positive and negative aspects, destined to permanently coexist. Gonzales? roots, bound as they are to?Mare nostrum?
