Having graduated from university, two young students think that their life will improve after getting jobs and that they will be able to get married. However, they are faced with the bitter reality of not being able to find suitable jobs. The woman ends up working in a beauty salon while the man works as a laborer. The woman meets an old friend who left university to marry a rich old man. She uses her connections to find the young couple suitable jobs.
