The book documents through plans, photographs and other original documents thearchitectural history of the Buenos Aires Customs "Palace" (Palacio de la Aduana), agovernment building and architectural landmark in the Montserrat section of the port citydesigned by architects Eduardo Lanús and Pablo Hary following the French neoclassictradition and inaugurated in 1910 as part of the celebrations of the Centennial of the MayRevolution. The emblematic building houses the Argentine General Customs Directorate (DGA)and in 2009 was declared a National Historic Monument by President Cristina Kirchner.
