Ricardo Bofill

Ricardo Bofill (Barcelona, 1939) has shaped the character of his work through his revaluation of the aesthetic function of each construction, of its relationship with its context and in particular of its relation to the society in which it is implanted. This book subdivides the complex work of the architect in several chapters, ranging from town planning to furniture design by way of schemes for parks, housing, offices and skyscrapers, in a profusely illustrated edition which includes a large number of original plans and sketches.
