Habermas et Haïti

This work, whose point of departure is the writings of philosopher Jürgen Habermas, discusses Haitian politics from Duvalier's dictatorship and populism to the pseudo-democratic recent elections and offers an analysis of the political discourse in order to understand the current situation of Haiti. Pierre Louis is also the author of Communication et espace public: une reconstruction à travers l'espace politique haïtienne (2012) and Oralité et récit médiatique : les dédales du personnage Duvalier dans les méandres du kairos (2015).
