About This Book
Vezirköpru is one of the historical cities where the bureaucrats who led the Seljuk and Ottoman politics were raised. In this study, the 1831 population books were translated into Latin letters. Vezirköpru is seen as one of the important textile and leather industrial centers of the Ottoman Empire with Amasya and Merzifon with approximately six thousand inhabitants in the beginning of the 19th century. In addition, the city is a city of craftsmen and a production center with close to a hundred different occupations.
