Report of the committee on the college studies

The report was prepared by the committee's chairman, Charles Beck. The committee proposed changes in the instruction of subjects including English, ancient languages, history, philosoph, natural history, and modern languages. The proposed recommendations were adopted by the Corporation on February 10, 1840.
