About This Book

Anthological exhibition of ceramist Eva Diaz Torres (Uruguay 1943-1993), granddaughter of noted constructivist artist Joaquin Torres Garcia. In 1958, when she was 15 years old, she entered the Torres García Workshop where she received elementary notions from painter and ceramist José Gurvich and later from José Collell. Most of her work was created using the pottery technique known as Raku firing process.
